Tea Cup, Ottawa Women Book Club and Group Discussion

This is a group for women( age 30+) seeking lively and thought-provoking discussions about a variety of fiction and non-fiction book and discussion topics. All women are welcome to join, whether avid readers already, or not. The hope is that each woman will feel comfortable openly sharing her reflections and opinions on books, and the discussion topics.

Women Food and God by Geneen Roth
Example of topics that we will be discussed:
prostitution: What’s your attitude towards prostitution? Do you think prostitution is really the world’s oldest profession? Can it be regarded as a profession? Should prostitution be legal?
What is right? What is wrong? Who puts the roles? is it the cultural or religion or maybe both or.....
Women Roles in various religious and cultural? And more interesting topics.
what is the meaning of life?
Usually we will be meeting 2 times during the month; one to discuss the book and the second time we will have an open discussion, we will choose a topic to talk about it. All books and group discussion will be based on prepared questions. All meetings will be during weekend days or Friday. All our meetings will take place at public areas like coffee shops and restaurants.
